Some days you eat salads and go do yoga, some days you eat cupcakes and refuse to put on pants. It’s called balance.
And we are firm believers in all of it! So make sure to hit one of these events (or more than one) and then tag us in your cupcakes + no pants pictures. We love seeing those too! #NJYOGACOLLECTIVE all day long 🙂
And please make sure you scroll to the end of this post and check out GOAT YOGA this week, or at least once this summer!

What a fabulous goat yoga season we had! We do all this because we LOVE Oasis and what they stand for. It was started by one of our own beloved students with lots of love and passion and hard work. Your participation has enabled their goats to be fed and cared for year round. Their Mission is to promote inclusion and acceptance of autistic individuals into their local communities by establishing environmentally exemplary farm centers that provide meaningful work, peaceful and healthy residences and community interaction. Lay your mat in the field. Try to pay attention to yoga while baby goats climb on you, push you over and generally cause a ruckus.

May Louie first took yoga in college to fulfill a Phys-Ed requirement and immediately fell in love. She, unfortunately, did not continue with her practice but reconnected with it when she retired from her corporate job in 2002 and has since become a serious yoga enthusiast. After her second retirement last year, she completed her 200-hour RYT certification, studying with Dina Crosta, Ellen Mosko, and Jamie Segal Hanley, with a focus on alignment based flow.
