Journey Through the Chakras: Restore Class
April 19th at 7 PM at Bambu Yoga in Hamilton, NJ
Come and join us on this amazing journey through the chakras. There are seven chakras, or energy centers, in the body. Each chakra is associated with particular functions within the body and with specific life issues and the way we handle them, both inside ourselves and in our interactions with the world.
So if we can balance this chakra system, we can balance how we function in life. Practicing Restorative poses that correspond to each chakra can release these blocks and clear the path to higher consciousness. No expectations are present as we open to the intention of letting go. Props are used to fully support the body in restful postures. While in these poses, students will be receiving Reiki, a form of energy therapy that enhances the natural healing system of the body and creates relaxation and a sense of well-being.
