We absolutely cannot believe how close we are to end of February. The sun is shining (today at least) and it’s ALMOST like we can smell spring in the air.
This week’s events are bringing a perfect mix of mindfulness, meditation, and musical awakening, along with some majorly challenging asana opportunities, perfectly poised to help you go deeper, fly higher, and discover what your body and heart can do.
Oh and YES, we’ve got wine + yoga with the METTAMADE crew. If you haven’t made it to one of her events, we HIGHLY recommend attending one as soon as you can.
We also want to make sure you know about this incredible training at Yin Yoga Training at Inlet Yoga, which started on February 16th. Yes, you might have missed the first few dates, but you can still carve out a 30 or 60 hour immersion from the 75 hours of training that Inlet is offering. For all our yoga teachers, this is a MUST! You will learn and explore the basic principles of the Taoist practice of Yin Yoga, Pranayama and Mindfulness Meditation – and we can all use more of that in our lives and our offerings to our students.

The practice of AcroYoga can be both therapeutic and playful. With these two sides of partner work, we work with another person (and sometimes more) to support each others body weight with counter balances and bone stacking. By doing this, we can then provide a greater physical release especially in the hips, spine and back that may not be found alone. This practice is not only for yogis, but anyone with a playful side looking to laugh and connect by playing. No experience necessary! No partner needed! We encourage that if you come with a friend that you are open to working with everyone. This is a community building practice!
