Yoga Calm® Wellness One Training

Learn new tools and techniques to help PreK-12 youth reduce stress, develop self-regulation, increase focus and attention, and build social/emotional skills with Yoga Calm’s nationally acclaimed Youth Instructor Certification program. Its unique integration of physical, mental and emotional skill building supports both learning and health. The focus on communication skills, emotional resiliency, mindfulness and positive behaviors bring back the joy of working with children in a school setting. The Youth Instructor Certification Program is well suited for a variety of personnel, including school teachers, nurses, counselors, support staff, mental health professionals in private practice or therapeutic communities, occupational and physical therapists, and yoga instructors.

Sixties Retro Yoga with Rebecca Kowalewicz

Ananda Yoga Wenonah
This 90-minute yoga class features music, scents, and décor from the decade of turning on, tuning in, and dropping out. Traditional yoga poses will incorporate the popular ‘60s peace sign for an added touch of fun. Perfect for both young and old, the sequencing will be tailored more for an older or beginner yoga class, however, can be adjusted to accommodate the abilities of the class. As a bonus, a free optional takeaway will be given to attendees. Décor, music, takeaway, and essential oils will be provided. Scent: Lavender. There’s nothing better for the time period of flower power than the soothing and calming smell of lavender. Décor includes a 37″ around by 25″ high bus prop flowers and peace sign cutouts.
Music: Song selections will feature some of the most popular songs from the ‘60s.

Inversion Workshop with Sal Macaro

NJ YogaMay Louie first took yoga in college to fulfill a Phys-Ed requirement and immediately fell in love. She, unfortunately, did not continue with her practice but reconnected with it when she retired from her corporate job in 2002 and has since become a serious yoga enthusiast. After her second retirement last year, she completed her 200-hour RYT certification, studying with Dina Crosta, Ellen Mosko, and Jamie Segal Hanley, with a focus on alignment based flow.
