The Recipe You Need for Optimal Healing

When we think of healing, we think reiki, yoga, meditation, pranayama, sound baths, massage, energy work, carefully placed crystals, and essential oils.

But what we might not think about is readings and life coaching.

As an Intuitive Life Coach and Reiki Master, I’ve learned that readings can be some of the most healing work we can do.

By combining readings with other healing modalities, it blows open the realm of possibilities for us to grow and heal. That is because there is an inherent wisdom and profound truth in all healing modalities.  I started looking at all I did—Reiki, yoga, meditation, tarot/oracle readings, intuitive/psychic readings – and I started to see the interconnectedness of them all.

It began to make so much sense to blend these all together for my highest good.

Reiki restores physical, emotional and spiritual well-being, it eases tension and stress, it balances the body’s energies.

Yoga also decreases stress, lowering cortisol levels, it improves quality of life, opening the chakras and allowing energy to move freely throughout the body, it helps improve sleep and improves balance and flexibility (not just physical, but emotional and mental as well!).

Essential oils and crystals can heal our chakras, protect our energies; reduce pain, stress, and nightmares; increase our self-worth; and can help bring us back to wellness in other ways.

But it doesn’t end there. For me and so many of my clients and friends, readings are integral part of the healing process.

Reading tarot can help us to hear our higher selves and gain perspective on situations, decisions, opportunities, and fears – situations that can create dis-ease in the body when we ignore them.  Intuitive readings, when combined with channeled guidance and with the help of healing guides, offer profound healing opportunities.

Readings help us to uncover deeper truths, often hidden truths about ourselves. Sometimes these are blocks from painful traumas, or parts of ourselves society told us was odd or ugly. Other times our hidden truths are repressed feelings from self-doubt or a lack of self-love. Readings, whether tarot/oracle or psychic/intuitive, become a way to wellness when they help us to face our shadows, heal our broken selves, and help us to work through our blocks.

Readings, when we work with those skilled in them as healings, can channel Angelic Guides, Healing Guides, and our Higher Selves, and ask that they work for us to heal us.

As I worked with this blended modality approach, this “wholistic” approach to my own wellness, I saw that this was meant to be shared with my clients. The wholistic approach gives me tremendous insight from a metaphysical standpoint on what my clients need to address, so we can quickly and relatively easily get to the source of the issues they’re facing.  When I can then approach coaching from not just the metaphysical, but the energetic and mundane simultaneously, big shifts happen.

As intuitive work, channeled work, tarot, and other traditionally “woo-woo” modalities become more accepted into mainstream culture, we can see more clearly the gifts of healing, wisdom and insight they can provide to us all.
