“Un-wined” from the work week with this beginner friendly 75-minute Flow and Restore class, followed with a glass of wine on the porch. In this class we will twist and fold the body, releasing any muscle tension the work week has left you with. Then join us on the porch for a nice glass of wine and the company of our community. No better way to end the week.

Body Lab at Align Amar Yoga in Tinton Falls

This workshop is about you. No one has your body, your history or your reason for practicing yoga. The way you practice asanas should be as unique as you are. Together, we’ll observe and discuss variation in lower body and spinal anatomy and why common alignment cues don’t work for everyone. Learn how to find your own personal alignment – from the inside out – based on foundation, sensation and intention rather than outward aesthetics. Yoga teachers will learn how to use sensation-based cuing that empowers students to determine the alignment that works best for their body. This workshop is appropriate for students of all levels as well as teachers.

Breathwork Healing for Forgiveness
June th at 4 PM at Yoga Peace Kula in Howell
Breathwork is an inner journey. You will learn the breath pattern and feel how using breath alone you can access different parts of yourself, your deeper self, and emotional body. It can be cathartic, illuminating, blissful. It will definitely be a reboot, so come ready to transform! Luke will lead the group through an opening circle, the active breathwork, and a period of deep relaxation.

The Summer Yoga Series is a wonderful opportunity to practice yoga with highly experienced instructors while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. All proceeds from these classes will go to Clean Ocean Action, a local nonprofit focused on ocean conservation.

May Louie first took yoga in college to fulfill a Phys-Ed requirement and immediately fell in love. She, unfortunately, did not continue with her practice but reconnected with it when she retired from her corporate job in 2002 and has since become a serious yoga enthusiast. After her second retirement in 2017, she completed her 200-hour RYT certification, studying with Dina Crosta, Ellen Mosko, and Jamie Segal Hanley, with a focus on alignment based flow.
