As a yoga teacher, energy healer, singer, and writer, I aim towards the same goal in each modality: to empower & awaken the soul. I want the reader, the participant, the listener, and the yogi, to feel something, to touch the glimmer of gold inside of themselves.
Tips for creative flow:
- Get quiet. When the mind is buzzing, meditation can help. Alternate nostril breathing, and chanting mantra yield quick results.
- Let go of expectations, and become a vessel. Allow the ideas to flow through you.
- Don’t set a time limit the process. Ideas may come to you at unexpected times throughout your day. Sometimes an idea or a line will come to me, seemingly out of nowhere, as I drift off to sleep or begin to prepare breakfast. There’s so much ether to pour out of you.
- Observe judgement. Begin to tell the difference between yes’s and no’s in your work. Don’t allow the Ego to label ideas as good or bad. Simply notice what resonates and what doesn’t, and take the necessary steps from there.
We are all here to shine brightly, to share our unique gifts with the world. There is room for everyone. Come back to your breath, this moment and ASK your higher self what your true gift is. There is no wrong answer if it is pure in heart.

My most recent music project is Aurora Aura, which is a dreamy soundscape with poetic lyrics and enchanted vocals. Dustin Sebes plays guitar loops, and creates layers on top of them.
