Poses and pods will incorporate elements of vinyasa and yin yoga with traditional Chinese cupping and functional movement. Cupping works by decompressing the layers of fascia under your skin to create more mobility and proprioception while going through the poses.
Proprioception the ability to know where every part of your body is without having to see it
Utilizing these cups while going through and holding these poses will strengthen your body awareness, making your yoga practice feel more effortless.
Please wear a tank top and shorts to this event.
May 10th at Honor Yoga in North Brunswick

Both forms of yoga are beneficial to all ages and all levels! Michele will be providing instruction on the poses as well as sharing some of his favorite poems and essential oils throughout the experience.

The divine feminine energy is expressed through our ability to be creative, intuitive, compassionate, nurturing, loving and caring. This restorative yoga class will help you rest, relax, reconnect to yourself & your grace, and heal. During deep relaxation, all the organ systems of the body are benefited.
May Louie first took yoga in college to fulfill a Phys-Ed requirement and immediately fell in love. She, unfortunately, did not continue with her practice but reconnected with it when she retired from her corporate job in 2002 and has since become a serious yoga enthusiast. After her second retirement in 2017, she completed her 200-hour RYT certification, studying with Dina Crosta, Ellen Mosko, and Jamie Segal Hanley, with a focus on alignment based flow.
