Feel your body and your mind relax in Restorative Yoga. Using props to support the body in yoga poses, this class encourages deep relaxation.
Reiki – a Japanese vibration energy therapy facilitated by light touch, on or slightly off the body bringing balance to the body, mind and spirit. Open to all levels — assistance is offered.
Teaching our children how to identify, prevent, and empower themselves against bullies. As bullies are finding their ways out of schools and into our homes in this day of technology, it is never too early to teach children the power of love over hate. Through this workshop we will encourage the power of friendship, self love and speaking up!
Yin, Affirmations, and Meditation
Dive deeper into your SELF. Yin is a practice of stillness, allowing the body to open up and delve deeper into the connective tissues. In this class we will focus on the hips. Reciting silent positive affirmations to keep you focused as you bring yourself deeper into your meditation.
In this workshop, we’ll discuss the evidence-based importance of self-care and self-compassion. You’ll learn nourishing techniques you can integrate into your life whether you have 60 seconds or 60 minutes available on any given day. We’ll discuss the components and benefits of self-compassion and Karin will guide you through practices in breathing, self-massage, mindfulness, and more. We’ll wrap up our time together with a guided meditation journey. Bring a notebook and pen.
Join us for our Beehive family yoga class. This family class is for little bees ages 4 & up.
In this 60-min family class we will practice yoga poses, partner and group poses, breathing and relaxation techniques and most importantly spend time with loved ones bonding all while having lots of FUN! $25/family
Let’s face it, being a ‘tween is hard! You are not a kid anymore and you are not quite a teenager. Similarly, being a teen is no walk in the park either! Both ‘tweens and teens come to yoga class each week, like adults, with many different issues or concerns. All these situations, big or small cause stress for today’s kids and coming to yoga can help alleviate some of that stress while also teaching them techniques and life skills to manage their stress.
The Bee You Yoga (BYY) kids teacher training “Teaching Yoga & Mindfulness to ‘Tweens & Teens” will provide the tools necessary for you to help guide ‘tweens and teens through this stage of development. This training is a fun-filled, practical and engaging course that emphasizes teaching yoga and mindfulness to kids in a way that stretches their imaginations and offers them non-competitive environment where they are encouraged to “Bee Themselves.” What makes the BYY training unique is the emphasis on mindfulness and the way in which it can be incorporated into children’s yoga and their everyday lives.
Aquarian has joined Exhale to Inhale’s Movement for Meaning! By hosting this event they are showing our commitment to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and we’re supporting Exhale to Inhale’s mission of empowering survivors through the healing practice of trauma-informed yoga.

In this workshop, Betsy will show you how to clear and care for your crystals and the energy around you. These important tasks she practices on a regular basis, not only in her home but at the studio as well to bring the calming and healing environment she wants her students and visitors to experience. Yin, Journaling, and meditation on Saturday at AMP Yoga in Springfield
Announcing a brand new series coming to AMP Yoga Studio! Come dive deep into your emotional landscape with Yin, Journaling & Meditation.
Yin yoga is a practice designed to delve deeper into our bodies in a quiet, still, and mindful way. Poses are held for several minutes inviting the body to release into a deep stretch. When we provide ourselves with the space to pause, we are often connected to our inner voice.
This workshop will begin with a centering meditation followed by a series of yin poses targeting specific areas of the body targeting the Emotion of the day, followed by time to reflect and journal.
Reflective questions and prompts will be offered to assist those new to journaling or who wish to be guided in their writing. As with yoga, journaling is a way to connect with our inner selves. Both yin and writing can be ways of healing, releasing old patterns and stuck energy, and/or celebrating our bodies and our spirits.
Bring a journal and pen. No writing or yoga experience necessary. $30 drop in rate or $140 for all 5.
