Yes (we know), there is no “goal” in the yoga practice (no yoga perfect, only yoga practice), but we do have some three GOALS this week.
Here they are:
Move, Meditate, and Do Some Good.
So how can we do it? Our first step is committing to these incredible events, workshops, and immersions, offering everything from mantras and music to April’s Yoga at the Beach – one of our favorite series of the summer, with all proceeds from these classes will go to Clean Ocean Action, a local nonprofit focused on ocean conservation. Reserve your ticket now before classes sell out!
Here is everything else we are loving:

Sacred Cacao Ceremony with Ashley Seymour
Saturday at Sun Moon Yoga in West Long Branch
Sacred Cacao is medicine for the heart. The pressed cacao, which comes from the cacao bean, is prepared by a shaman in Guatemala. Cacao unlocks our creative potential & divine connection- complete heart and soul harmony with Source. This ceremony will bring you to a place of deep relaxation and grounding so that you may uncover your true place of balance within. Through this process we must surrender and open the floodgates of that which no longer serves us. The layers of any judgments, resentments, pain, angers, fears, aches or disillusion, will dissolve and you will open into clarity and peace. Cacao also unlocks your creative potential, allowing you to step into your inner child-like wonder and explore the nature of your being. This unfolding is all within the guidance of the cacao spirit (one aspect/quality of the vibratory essence of pure consciousness- everything in essence is guided by The Divine) and your willingness to go within.

May Louie first took yoga in college to fulfill a Phys-Ed requirement and immediately fell in love. She, unfortunately, did not continue with her practice but reconnected with it when she retired from her corporate job in 2002 and has since become a serious yoga enthusiast. After her second retirement, she completed her 200-hour RYT certification, studying with Dina Crosta, Ellen Mosko, and Jamie Segal Hanley, with a focus on alignment based flow.
