I have 5 major problems facing me every single time I sit down and try think about making dinner.

- I don’t eat meat and I don’t even really like to touch it, much less massage
spices and marinades into it (as any good cook probably would). - Everyone else in my house claims to require animal protein at least 2 times per day.
- My son begs for carbohydrates from 6 AM until 8 PM, and needs to bebribed to put green things into his mouth.
- I want my plate to be majority vegetables BUT I don’t like asparagus. That second detail isn’t really important, but I feel like I
ant anyone and everyone who ever might have me over for dinner to know that. #justsaying - My daughter won’t eat anything with even a speck of cheese on it, unless of course it’s pizza.
So with those five things in mind, you can understand why dinnertime is the most stressful time of day for me. Either I make four variations on one meal or I give up on life and order from two takeout restaurants at once.
Yes, this is all super hard to admit. Most people probably look at me and assume I am a yogi goddess in the kitchen with cauliflower rice, butternut squash zoodles, and spinach smoothies dancing across my countertops.
And I bet no one would guess I have POP TARTS in my cabinet. But I do. The organic ones (which means totally better, right?) are in there almost all the time.
Luckily my mommy-yogi-meal-fails have turned into successes in the past few months.
How, you ask?
Life has changed exponentially in the past few months because of ONE man: Josh Gryvatz, the founder and creator of Deliboy Delivery (he’s the head chef too).

Josh and I met through a few friends who are very much in the same boat as me, with a desire to load their tables with healthy and delicious meals without spending the better of their week making it happen. I was told he was the go-to guy for less stress + better plans for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Which clearly sounded amazing to me.
I called him literally 4 seconds later and within one phone call, I was placing MAJOR orders for everything from 2 ingredient protein pancakes, “grown up” sloppy joes, and BBQ Buddha Chicken to roasted brussel sprouts with shallots and chipotle-maple mashed sweet potatoes.

Josh just GETS IT.
He is a father, so he feels me on the “what healthy things do kids actually eat?!” vibe AND he is married to an incredibly gorgeous, fitness-friendly, clean-eating lady who was the original impetus behind Deliboy. Josh’s wife challenged him to start a company that could and would consistently “do it better” than what she was seeing on the market.
So Josh did it…
And he keeps doing it week after week.
Josh created his business because while everybody knows how to eat healthy in theory – fresh = good, processed and sugary = bad – there are hurdles to getting it done regularly. Time is a huge one, but I will fully admit to not being completely knowledgeable about how to ensure as many items as possible are sourced locally and organically, without totally destroying my debit account. Plus convenience is king for so many of us, especially when life gets B U S Y. And it gets busy A LOT.
Deliboy is my solution and, if you live in Middlesex, Monmouth or Ocean County, NJ, it just might become yours too. Deliboy cooks and delivers freshly prepared, delicious and healthy meals to your door, with tons of options for anyone seeking gluten-free, paleo-friendly, veggie-loaded, and protein-packed foods without spending hours in the kitchen.

In fact, you’ll barely have to spend 5 minutes. The majority of my “efforts” focus on plating the meals to make it look like I made them #sorryImnotsorry
