So. Much. Gratitude.

VibeWell 2019

Are there words? Honestly, not yet. I sat down to write this post 5 different times and spent at least 1/2 of the minutes (each time) pressing “delete” because I just couldn’t figure out a way to properly say “thank you” to every single human being who made it all possible. From my family (did you meet my Dad, the newly named official Mayor of all things yoga?), friends, and volunteers who did ALL the things so I could teach + connect, to the extraordinary presenters who offered up their SOULS on our three stages – it was almost too much for my heart to hold.

And the vendors? Can we say “rockstar status”?! I mean, clearly Mother Nature felt she was invited to VibeWell (or maybe she didn’t feel invited, so she decided to show up Maleficent style) and tried to blow our best-laid plan for a tented play space out of Asbury Park. But we survived. Actually, we did better – we THRIVED.

Why? Because the shared intention for the day was stronger than the wind and rain. Our decision to show up, move, breathe, and just spend quality time TOGETHER was the only thing that mattered.

In the words of Celine Dion (which I of course played during sun salutations in my class), “there were moments of gold, and there were flashes of light, there were things I’d never do again, but then they’d always seemed right…”

Because everything is and always will be exactly right when this yoga family gathers.
