RESTORE AND REIKI

This time of year brings shorter days, longer nights, and a shift in the seasons. what a wonderful time to settle into inward exploration through meditation, reiki and essential oils.
By using an array of props to support the body, we will offer an opportunity to find a balance of action and ease. A carefully crafted sequence of supported poses with longer holds will prepare the body for supported inversions. These inversions are known for their rejuvenating properties, for flushing lymph, and for boosting the immune system. Find peace in the candlelit room assisted by the healing properties of Reiki energy.
You’ll leave the session deeply restored with a sense of ease in body, mind, and spirit.

Join Bridget for a cleansing, nourishing, intention-filled detox practice, loaded with the best poses and vinyasa flow sequences for cleansing your body. We will, pull, push, twist and turn to facilitate the removal of the gunky stuff that eventually but inevitably limits our ability to physically, mentally and emotionally function efficiently and effectively.
Bridget will explain the importance of breath and posture during a detox-specific flow (stop slouching as you read this, for starters), and will finish class with a “Restore, Renew and Focus on YOU” meditation.

SOUNDBATH AND GONG RESONANCE with Abhaijot Kaur

The gong is a sacred and ancient instrument of healing, rejuvenation and transformation. The Gong produces a strong sound wave, almost tangible to the touch, which stimulates the physical body by influencing the surface of the skin and every cell. GRATITUDE WALK AND MEDITATION

Come take a meditative walk through Mercer County Park. We will meet at the East Picnic Area (off of Edinburgh near Old Trenton Road) and walk to the lakefront where we will sit and meditate. We will then take a Japa Walk back to the picnic area. Don’t know what a Japa Walk is? No worries, it will all be explained. This is perfect end to the holiday weekend. A time to be mindful and prepare for the rush of the holidays. This event is free, but donations for the Honor Yoga Foundation will be accepted!
Meditation for Beginners

May Louie first took yoga in college to fulfill a Phys-Ed requirement and immediately fell in love. She unfortunately did not continue with her practice but reconnected with it when she retired from her corporate job in 2002 and has since become a serious yoga enthusiast. After her second retirement last year, she completed her 200 hour RYT certification, studying with Dina Crosta, Ellen Mosko and Jamie Segal Hanley, with a focus on alignment based flow.[/box]
