VibeWell HONORS brings together the very best yoga instructors, wellness experts, and thought leaders for one inspiring day of practice, community, connectedness, gratitude, and GIVING.
By coming together, we are affecting positive change in our community and ultimately in the world around us.
How? Simple. All proceeds from the festival will be donated to the Honor Yoga Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit that provides yoga-related programs to at-risk and underserved communities.

The VibeWell HONORS Festival is proud to support the Honor Yoga Foundation. The Honor Yoga Foundation fosters peace and healing in our communities by providing yoga-related wellness programs to under-served and at-risk populations, funding research of yoga’s benefits, and supporting other like-minded organizations.

This past weekend several of the Foundation Board Members, Honor Yoga Studio owners, and Honor Yoga team members gathered at Orenda, Honor Yoga’s Retreat Center. The weekend was spent talking about the Foundation’s mission of bringing yoga to underrepresented populations and how the Foundation can be of service to Honor Yoga studios. It was a fantastic weekend filled with yoga, nature, good food, and most importantly community. We are looking forward to bringing the Honor Yoga Foundation’s vision of Yoga to All to life!

I have a wisp of a memory of packing for an all-day NYC conference, back in the day, when I worked for a Wall Street hedge fund. #hedgefund 🕉 As I gather my teaching materials for a Yin Intensive on Saturday, I noted how different my packed bag looks now. Yoga has influenced my life in ways I don’t really have words for (rare for me… I know 😂) 🕉 For one, I never expected the teaching experience to be so rich and thought provoking. Each time I travel to present a workshop, class or teacher training module, I’m thrilled to see the sincere dedication to teaching that I encounter. All of us, doing our best to share what we love. 🕉 I look forward to seeing you again @weyogacenter ♥️ 😍 #travelyogateacher #yinyoga #teachertrainer #yin #restore #subtlebody #artofthevoice

I have 187 entries in my notes app called “IG captions” where I’ve written an idea to share later and then never shared it 😅 . . Maybe I’ll put them all together one day in a little book and just give them away or something (Comment “YES ADELL” if you’d like that) . . I prefer to write what’s actually on my mind at the time that I post #livinginthepresent 😄 What about you? . . Wearing @aloyoga . EVERY DAY IS A DAY TO SAY TOMORROW… I don't know about you but I have a short list (ok maybe a not so short ) of things every day that I say "tomorrow " too. I'll do that "tomorrow ". Sadly enough some of these thing have been pushed through years of tomorrows. It's kinda ridiculous. Some of these things would take maybe an hour of my time. And they have been pushed back and back and back. Others would take some serious effort , but the prize would be worth every minute. Eh tomorrow. Whether it's laundry, painting, going to the gym , having that meeting, maybe just that coffee date. Making that phone call, cleaning out my closet, bathing the dogs, putting up a shelf, sending that email, writing up my classes, taping that video , getting rid of some stuff, working on my French. These are the easy ones. Tomorrow Tomorrow Tomorrow Jesus maybe I should be called Annie . Ok. One thing Today. #dothatshittoday #procrastination #iamvegan #veganyogi #tattooedvegan #tattooedwomen #whatveganslooklike #morethanasana #veganstrong #yogabadass #yogarebel #tattooedwomen #tattooedyogi #yogalife #veganstrong #jerseyyogi #jerseygirl #yoga #yogainspiration

If you believe in the power of yoga and mindfulness, read this book. If you doubt the power of yoga and mindfulness, rush to read this book. If you are struggling to find your way from adversity (of any kind) to light, order it today. If you know someone who needs to be inspired and empowered, send them a gift. Do not be fearful of the dark topics for it is as much about the light. I started the NJ Yoga Collective because I believe, with all my heart, that some of the best yoga in the world happens right here, in New Jersey. The teachers, students, and studios I have the privilege of teaching for and practicing at are inspiring, uplifting, creative, collaborative, compassionate, giving, and community-focused. I wake up every single day knowing that I am blessed to have yoga as my "job", with a living, breathing office of awesomeness all around me. So what is the NJYC? It's a website. An online magazine. A home base for discovering what's going on in NJ yoga every day. It's a place to publish deep thoughts, share stories, and, for those who are ready to rock, it's a safe space to shine your light on a bigger audience. The VibeWell Yoga Festivals grew from the NJYC. Why? Because festivals are a vital resource for anyone who wants to get their growth game on. We get to expand our knowledge, practice with favorites, try something new, and connect with rising stars. The stage gets bigger than the individual productions we are used to. And most importantly? We get to SEE each other. We get to laugh, cry, dance, unroll our mats, and remember that connection is everything. So how do I do it?! I sacrifice some sleep, I lean in on the people who are willing to help me, I call in favors, I make a TON of mistakes, I trust my gut, and I use the tools GoDaddy offers up to share my passion with the world. ALL of this started with a website. ALL of it. And for that, I am okay with being a millennial, tethered to my devices, taking an entrepreneurial journey to anywhere. #ad #maketheworldyouwant #GoDaddyTribe @godaddy

When I met Brendan I was extremely vulnerable and numbed by desperation. The kind of desperation that festers inside of a loveless, controlling relationship. Too ashamed and afraid to admit how broken I was. So lost and so aware. And that awareness was slowly destroying me. Somehow, in the mist of that confusion, I allowed him to hold my hands and do the one thing I never allow anybody to do: taking care of me. Be my base. Hold me while I was falling apart, harder than I ever did. And there, while learning to fly together, not only I realized that I had never trusted anybody before him but also that I had never experienced what it means to be connected. To be loved for all the wrong that I am. I learned what it means to be one with somebody else. “I will never let you fall” he used to tell me when I was too afraid to try a pose. “You can do it”. “You got this”. “I got you”. And he was right. I could do it, and he never let me fall. He picked up all the pieces of my broken soul and patiently put them back together. He taught me that I don’t need wings to fly. That I am stronger than I ever thought I could be and with the help of others I can achieve anything I want. That I never needed to be saved. All I needed to do was to place my trust in the right person. All I needed to do was to learn how to communicate my fears, doubts, and vulnerabilities without shame. _________________________________________________ That is what Acro Yoga – and my partner – did for me. It gave me wings, teaching me how, in a world where the meaning of communication and connection are completely twisted by social media and the overall indifference of people, we can still be real. It redefined the meaning of touch, a sense that is almost lost in modern society. It taught me to use the movements of my body to create a symphony with somebody else, a dance that goes way beyond the physical aspect for of two bodies supporting each other to perform a yoga pose. Something that transcends time and space. Connection: pure, raw and simple.
