Spirit Speak: Turning Your Yoga Class Into a Journey of the Soul with Seane Corn
$795 Tuition for Monday to Friday at Alluem Yoga in Cranford, NJ
This very special 5-day immersion, open to yoga teachers and seasoned practitioners, is about cultivating personal strengths as a yogi, developing a strong and confident voice, and how to turn a simple class or personal practice into a soul-inspiring experience. All practitioners are taught the mechanics: alignment, sequencing, asana, pranayama, meditation – the tradition and rich history of yoga. Yet, they are often left yearning for a way to bring themselves, and later their students, into a place of deep surrender, prayer and intentional energetic shifts. With Seane’s guidance, we’ll explore our own personal practice and connection to source and how to then invite Spirit into the body/mind experience, incorporate ritual, and realize how to speak authentically from the heart as a way to inspire, inform and motivate our practice or class. To conclude the immersion, you will receive five sequences to practice and teach as well as unique prayers written by Seane, that you are free to use and explore in your own teaching and practice.

This workshop focused on the practical application of imagery techniques to increase the power, alignment and flexibility of the pelvic joints and muscles. Balancing the action of the joints, we will experience the natural bone rhythms in support of healthy function. Increasing the safety of the lower back, knees and feet. Sacral balance is key to the alignment of the spine and legs. Learn how the sacrum actually moves as a key to understanding and creating efficient, safe movement. Throughout the workshop imagery and language is used explaining this complex subject matter at all levels of experience. Evolutionary logic will be presented to provide a fresh and practical understanding of the anatomy and biomechanics of the pelvis. The participants will leave the workshop with a sense of aligned strength through the pelvic floor, the feet firmly balanced and the spine long and buoyant.

This workshop is for those seeking to deepen their connection to the practice of yoga, beyond just asana. You will learn about subtle energy systems of the body such as the koshas, chakras, Vayus and 3 Vital essences. With this expansion of awareness we will dive into crystal and quantum healing. You will learn how to protect your own energetic field and balance out your chakras. We will end with a guided meditation that will bring you on a journey of spinal breathing, protection and balancing of each chakra, and awareness of the subtle energies discussed in the beginning of the workshop.

Please join Seane Corn in her beloved home state of NJ for a very special yoga event to benefit the Skylands Animal Sanctuary & Rescue founded by her old childhood friend Mike Stura. I can’t imagine a better way to spend a day than being with friends and family, sharing yoga and raising money and awareness to help our animal friends.
The day will begin at 9am and include yoga in a marble ballroom(!), a vegan bbq lunch, guided tour of the sanctuary and talks on animal rescue and veganism.
Children w/ Special Needs Yoga Workshop (Gratitude Practice)

Join us for a 75 minute yoga workshop for children with special needs in November! Pearl is hosting this workshop for children with diverse abilities including ADD, ADHD, autism, down syndrome, sensory integration difficulties, language processing difficulties, developmental delays, limited mobility, anxiety, behavioral challenges and more. This class will encourage children to utilize healthy habits by practicing breathing techniques, learning relaxation skills, and exercising. Students will develop balance, strength, and a sense of being centered in a fun loving environment. Parents are welcome at no additional charge.
May Louie first took yoga in college to fulfill a Phys-Ed requirement and immediately fell in love. She, unfortunately, did not continue with her practice but reconnected with it when she retired from her corporate job in 2002 and has since become a serious yoga enthusiast. After her second retirement last year, she completed her 200-hour RYT certification, studying with Dina Crosta, Ellen Mosko, and Jamie Segal Hanley, with a focus on alignment based flow.
