One of the reasons we started the NJYC is because we are inspired by the men and women teaching and practicing yoga in the Garden State EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

This week’s 9 most instal-worthy moments came with words that made us think, smile and FEEL something. Yes, we want to use the hashtag #allthefeels right now.

Okay, we did it.

Thank you for being YOU and sharing your thoughts and efforts on the mat and off. Keep the pictures coming and make sure to #njyogacollective. We will be looking for you.

Insider tip:

Next week is ALL about the HEADSTAND to support Headstands for Hunger. Add the hashtag #H4H to raise awareness for hungry people and pets in our local communities.

Linda Hoxha, Yoga lover and accountant by day.

Headstands and Yoga EVERYWHERE. (check out Headstands for Hunger and make sure to get your headstand ON in Asbury Park on November 4th!)

Jeanine, yoga teacher searching for growth, not perfection.

“Surrender. Ishvara Pranidhana.”

Surrender. Ishvara Pranidhana. . . "Help us to surrender. Show us how to give in and not give up. Allow us to revel in the beauty and nakedness that surrender brings." . . The greater grace… . Surrender to something bigger than yourself… . Say yes to the present moment. See through the eyes of love. Trust the outcome. Have no expectations… . . By continuing our yoga practice we shed those unwanted layers and understand it is safe to surrender – we let ourselves be moved. We offer our hearts to God, universe, the divine – knowing our practice isn't for personal gain but collective consciousness. . . . #pixielighthorse #yogajeanine #yogabarnnj

“… soaking in all of all the goodness as the leaves begin to turn and trying to keep my balance while I figure out what’s next…”

All my north east friends, how amazing is the weather right now? I am soaking in all of all the goodness as the leaves begin to turn and trying to keep my balance while I figure out what’s next 🤔 The new moon came this week on Oct. 19, and when a new moon falls, it’s always good to make some adjustments to our list of what we want to personally achieve. New moons are about #goals. Whether you want to eat healthier, clean your closet, volunteer some time, or begin a new hobby—the goals are yours to set. You can dream big and reach for the stars, or you can choose to integrate something as simple as taking a deep breath when you feel yourself getting frustrated—life is full of choices! No matter what though, the theme of this new moon is going to be around the theme of partnership with both yourself and outside world. For me this means taking time out of my busy schedule to make sure that I’m really taking care of myself in mind body and spirit ✌🏻 I’m also thinking about doing my 300 hour YTT at @sonicyoga (!) But for now I am looking forward to escaping into the woods a bit this weekend 🌲 🍂 How are you going to spend this beautiful day?
