Eleonora Zampatti, founder of Ode to the Moon and NJ yoga instructor talks about blessings and her love of her current home, NJ!

There are moments when I am on my mat, moving from one pose to another, where I feel blessed. Blessed with an opportunity to listen. Listen to all those things that I left unsaid. Listen to all those feelings that I repressed and all those fears that I buried somewhere within my self. We all approach yoga for different reasons and they are all great reasons. At the end, what really matters is that we keep coming back. Back to the mat. To the practice. To ourself. Back at home. _______________________________ Home for me is New Jersey, one of the places I love the most (yes, also if I come from Italy 😜). Today my friends @bridgetriepl and @amieretzlaff launched their new website @njyogacollective! I project I m honored to be part of it as much as I m to call New Jersey my home. 📸by @amieretzlaff, wearing total black look by @werkshop _______________________________ . . . #gratitude #myyogalife #newjersey #yoga #beagoddess #yogagirl

Vanessa Van Noy, founder of Headstands for Hunger (HUGE event for people and pets on November 4th at Convention Hall in Asbury Park). “You’re special, so am I. Your rare path will create your personal future. Embrace your experiences; they made you.”

DO YOU REMEMBER WHO U WERE BEFORE THEY ALL TOLD YOU WHO YOU SHOULD BE? Who are you ? Who are you really? Who do you want to be? Some of us may have similar looks, similar backgrounds, we may be drawn to similar ideas and expressions. We have all lived different lives, we have all walked down a unique path , we may have criss crossed roads with others peoples many times over. Yet we are still not them, they are still not us. Shared experience doesn't mean we are the same. This is what makes us unique , this is what sets us apart. Who are you ? How did those life experiences create that being you see in the mirror? How does that person choose to make their mark ? You're special , so am I. Your rare path will create your personal future. Embrace your experiences , they made you . Who are you? #whatsyourstory #morethanasana #tattooedyogi #whatveganslooklike #veganyogi #ahimsa #njyogacollective

Repeat after me: Hot. Mama. 🔥 . This weekend launches my prenatal series at @summusbodymind and I am so excited to have a room full of bellies doing yoga. Marcy Ragan, personal chef and NJYC expert on what can only be described as edible art. Today we bring you Marcy’s CHEESE STRAWS!

It's the weekend and all I really want to do is drink wine (thanks @courtliquors) and eat my world famous (according to me) cheese straws. Spiced with cumin, coriander, paprika, Maldon sea salt, pepper and a few secret ingredients- these really hit the spot – crunchy, well seasoned and flaky. These started off as a family favorite and now have become a client fave. Happy #friday! Cheers!

Bridget Riepl, yoga teacher and co-founder of the NJ Yoga Collective, offering up a list of 10 Instagram poets you will love (and want to use for Dharma talks!)

Yoga teachers look for inspiration everywhere. Why? Because the greatest classes begin with a nugget of gold, dug out from the heart of a teacher who connected with something that felt at least a little bit like enlightenment. We want our own students to experience that, so we look and listen for the quotes, stories, songs and poems that speak to our souls. Well guess what? The search for inspiration just got a whole lot easier. Here are links to ten true Instagram artists, painting their feeds with words that are SO very worth repeating. Check the link in my bio and you'll have them all right at your fingertips. #poetryinmotion #instapoets #njyogacollective | photo by @amieretzlaff
