We are semi in shock, but loving the right sunlight and these first few whispers of spring.
We are also really excited to see so many teachers and studios celebrating International Women’s day this coming weekend – March 8th.
International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

Moving into Stillness with Sue Elkind
Monday at Dig Yoga in Lambertville
Yoga teaches us that slowing down is essential for ultimate health and wellbeing, yet for many of us this is hard to do as lifeโs responsibilities keep piling up. With digestive ailments such as bloating, IBS, Crohn’s disease and GERD on the rise, come learn ways to aid your digestive well-being. A sequence targeting our core will help to ease tension and increase blood flow to intra-abdominal organs and helping to calm our nervous system. We will also discuss how to incorporate essential oils into our lives to calm digestive ailments. This class is appropriate for all levels, including yoga newbies.
Explore Your Resilient Core Leading to Handstands with Dina Crosta
Friday at Beacon Yoga in Freehold
What if we start with the premise that your core by its nature is functional, capable and already supporting you? Please join Dina through an embodied movement practice and get curious about what it means to feel somatically connected to our core. We will also explore the core as it leads us into the powerful Adho Mukha Vrksasana -Handstand!ย In this 2 hour practice we will be moving all around our mats, the room and playing with different kinds of props to enhance and educate ourselves in a fun and interactive way.

From the inside out, this workshop will fully cleanse your Chakras to rebalance, reclaim & heal your body. Join Meredith Lippai for a 60 minute light restorative movement practice to physically detox, followed by some journaling, and finishing with a discussion on how to maintain the cleanse through food as you transition into your daily life. May Louie first took yoga in college to fulfill a Phys-Ed requirement and immediately fell in love. She, unfortunately, did not continue with her practice but reconnected with it when she retired from her corporate job in 2002 and has since become a serious yoga enthusiast. After her second retirement in 2017, she completed her 200-hour RYT certification, studying with Dina Crosta, Ellen Mosko, and Jamie Segal Hanley, with a focus on alignment based flow.
